March 16, 2010 - An overwhelming majority of fans who voted in our last online poll say former White Sox great Frank Thomas is going to Cooperstown, but he may not get in on the first ballot.
In one of the most lopsided votes in poll history, nearly 92 percent of voters say "The Big Hurt" will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Exactly one-third of the 72 voters say Thomas will get in on his first try. More than 58 percent say he will get in, just not in his first year of eligibility. Just eight percent said he won't make the Hall. |
