February 18, 2010 - The RiverHawks announced Thursday that they have put infielder Boomer Berry on waivers.
The team picked him up from Sioux City last month in exchange for a player to be named. Berry, 29, split last season between New Hampshire of the independent Can-Am League and Sioux City. He hit.248 with two home runs and 24 RBI in 65 games with New Hampshire before Sioux City acquired him for cash on Aug. 7.
