October 5, 2009 - Former RiverHawk Matt Hagen has won another pennant.
Hagen, who played for the RiverHawks in 2007, won his second straight Atlantic League crown with Somerset on Sunday, when the Patriots beat Southern Maryland, 11-1, and completed a three-games-to-one win in the league championship series.
Hagen was 2-for-3 with two doubles and scored three runs in Game 4. Hagen hit .294 (10-for-34) with a home run and eight RBI in two rounds of postseason games. |
