June 6, 2009 - Sioux Falls second baseman Joe Anthonsen was 2-for-3 on Friday as the Canaries beat Shreveport-Bossier, 6-5, in an independent American Association game. Anthonsen, last season's Frontier League batting champion, is hitting .344 with one RBI after 16 games.
