February 27, 2009 - Performance-enhancing drugs trumps marijuana use, in the blunt assessment of fans voting in our most recent online poll.
Roughly two-thirds of 644 total voters said the recent admission Yankees star Alex Rodriguez that he used steroids is a bigger scandal than the published photograph of Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps smoking from a marijuana pipe.
More than 67 percent (434) of voters said A-Rod's admission was the bigger scandal. Nearly 33 percent (210) went with Phelps' photo. |
