Former RiverHawk Dave "the Wall" Bernstine gets a brief mention in the current issue of Sports Illustrated. The veteran of the 2004 Frontier League championship team is a longtime friend of Milwaukee ace CC Sabathia, last year's AL Cy Young winner. Bernstine was Sabathia's catcher in high school in Vallejo, Cal.
