December 11, 2007 - The managerial carousel is already well under way in the Frontier League.
Brian Nelson is the new manager of the defending champion Windy City ThunderBolts. Nelson replaces Andy Haines, who took a coaching job in the Florida organization. Nelson preceeded RiverHawks manager Bob Koopmann as head coach at Rockford College.
Washington manager John Masarelli, a two-time Frontier League Manager of the Year, has left the team to spend more time with his family. Pitching coach Grant Dorn also resigned. He has joined the coaching staff at Virginia Intermont College. No replacement has been named for either.
Florence pitching coach Chris Hook is the pitching coach at Milwaukee's Class AA affiliate in Huntsville.
