January 26, 2007 - First baseman Richard Quihuis-Bell, released in November by the RiverHawks, has signed with the Anderson Joes of the South Coast League.
The Joes, as well as the entire six-team rookie independent league, have yet to play a game.
Quihuis-Bell joined the RiverHawks in July after brief stints with the Golden League’s Yuma and San Diego franchises. He hit .247 with a homer and seven RBI in 97 at-bats. |
