Frontier League hot stove notebook
« Back

April 19, 2006 - Though spring training is just weeks away, Frontier League teams continue to make deals.

The Gateway Grizzlies have been the most active team this week. Thomari Story-Harden is headed to his third team in the last year. The Grizzlies, who picked up the towering first baseman in a deal with Mid-Missouri late last season, on Monday traded Harden to New Haven County of the Can-Am League in exchange for the rights to outfielder Richard Plumsky.

On Tuesday, Gateway obtained pitchers Randy Waite and John Segovia from Reno of the Golden League for future considerations.

Washington traded pitcher Matt Brumit to Atlantic City of the Atlantic League for a player to be named later.
