Fans say home run record the most likely to fall

August 25, 2010 - RiverHawks fans think the home run record, set by Rich Austin in 2004, will be broken this season. Austin hit 15 in 2004. Pat O'Sullivan was on pace to break the record, he has hit 13 homers, before his season ended with an injury. Jason James currently has 10 homers.

Scott Roehl notched his record-breaking 16th save Sunday in Rockford's 5-3 win at Gary. Roehl broke Josh Latimer's record of 15 saves, set in 2004.

127 of 228 fans said only the home run record would be broken, with 43 saying only the saves record would fall. The vote breakdown was:

Home Runs (15) 127 vote(s) 55.70% Saves (15) 43 vote(s) 18.86% Both 47 vote(s) 20.61% Neither 11 vote(s) 4.82%
