July 21, 2010 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks host the Northern Illinois High School Baseball Showcase Friday at Road Ranger Stadium. The area's best senior players will be playing in the showcase. The game features players from the NIC-10 conference vs players from the Northwest Upstate Illini and Big Northern conferences. Admission is $5 per person, and the game begins at 7:00 p.m.
The RiverHawks are members of the Northern League, an eight-team independent professional baseball league in its 18th season.
