June 8, 2010 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Tonight’s game between the Rockford RiverHawks and the Gary SouthShore RailCats has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Stateline area.

The game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday. Gates to the ballpark will open at 5:05 p.m.

The State Farm Youth Clinic will start at 4:30 p.m. and run until 5:15 p.m. Kids who participate in the clinic will receive a t-shirt and ticket to both games.

Tomorrow is a Rock River Valley Blood Center “Straight from the Heart” Wednesday; any fan who donates blood at any RRVBC location will receive a free ticket to the RiverHawks game. It’s also Kinnikinnick School District night.

The RiverHawks are members of the Northern League, an eight-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 18th season this summer. Advertising and ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255. Games are broadcast live on ESPN 1380 (WTJK-AM) and on ESPN1380.com.
