June 13, 2010 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks have scheduled a post-draft tryout for 8:30 a.m. Thursday, June 17 at Road Ranger Stadium.
The tryout is open to college seniors that are not picked in this week’s major-league draft. The tryout is by invitation only – players must send a resume and/or statistical information and references to RiverHawks manager Bob Koopmann at [email protected] or by phone at (815) 885-2255.
The RiverHawks are members of the Northern League, an eight-team independent professional baseball league in its 18th season.
