May 17, 2010 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks have announced the fourth annual Roy Gayle night to be held Sunday, June 6 when they host the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. First pitch is scheduled for 4:05 p.m.
All Roy Gayle players and coaches will be honored with a pregame on-field ceremony. After the game, all kids can run the bases at Road Ranger Stadium and every RiverHawks player will be available for autographs. Also, free train rides will be available all night.
The RiverHawks are members of the Northern League, an eight-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 18th season this summer. The RiverHawks’ ninth season begins at 7:05 p.m. Thursday against the Schaumburg Flyers at Road Ranger Stadium. Advertising and ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255.
