April 1, 2010 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – All tickets to the Rockford RiverHawks’ 2010 season are now on sale.

Rockford’s only professional baseball team released all tickets for the 50-game regular-season schedule, plus the June 17 “Battle of the Sexes” exhibition game, that have not been reserved by fans with a season-ticket or mini-season plan.

Tickets for high-demand nights such as Opening Night on May 20, four bobblehead-doll nights and more are available. Single-game seats are $5 for grandstand, $8 for outfield box, $10 for infield box, $12 for home plate box and $15 for premium box. The Diamond Deck, which includes an all-you-can-consume buffet of hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, soft drinks, beer and more, is just $25.

Fans with 2009 ticket plans who have not yet renewed their plan have lost their seats, but can still avoid being shut out of a sellout night with the purchase of a ticket plan. Season tickets, which guarantee the same great seat for all 50 home games, start at just $456. Five-, 10- and 20-game mini-season plans start as low as $40. When single-game seats go on sale, fans renewing a ticket plan, as well as first-time plan purchasers, will lose the opportunity to guarantee their choice of seat.

Each fan who purchases a ticket plan is eligible for the RiverHawks’ ticket-exchange program. Fans with a ticket plan who will be unable to attend a specific home game can exchange their unused tickets in advance of the game date for tickets to another 2010 home game. In addition, anybody with a season-ticket plan is invited to the annual exclusive preseason party in May. Discounted purchases in the team store are also available to fans with season tickets.

Fans with ticket plans also avoid being shut out of sold-out games, including Opening Night on May 20 and the RiverHawks’ premium giveaway nights, including bobblehead dolls, baseball cards and piggy banks.

To reserve season tickets or purchase single-game seats, call the box office at (815) 885-BALL and ask to speak with a season-ticket representative. The box office is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays.

The RiverHawks are members of the Northern League, an eight-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 18th season in 2010. The RiverHawks’ ninth season begins at 7:05 p.m. May 20 against the Schaumburg Flyers at Road Ranger Stadium. Advertising and ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255. Games are broadcast live on ESPN 1380 (WTJK-AM) and on ESPN1380.com. Fans can also visit the RiverHawks online at www.rockfordriverhawks.com.
