October 13, 2009 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Baseball fans have a unique opportunity to help the Rockford RiverHawks set their schedule for next spring.
The team is in the process of determining the starting time for Sunday home games in 2010, and would like to gauge fan opinion. The current online poll at RockfordRiverHawks.com asks fans whether to keep the current 4:05 p.m. start, return to the 6:05 p.m. starting time used from 2003-08, or split the difference and move Sunday starts to 5:05 p.m.
The RiverHawks are members of the Northern League, an eight-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 18th season in 2010. Advertising and ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255. Most games are broadcast live on ESPN 1380 (WTJK-AM) and the internet. Fans can also visit the RiverHawks online at www.rockfordriverhawks.com.
