July 15, 2009 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Frontier League All-Star Game will be a night of dollar beers and family fun.
The RiverHawks host the 2009 Frontier League All-Star celebration tonight at Road Ranger Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm
Tonight's All-Star Game will be a Miller Lite/104.9 – the X Dollar Beer Night. The fun starts at 4 p.m. with the Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest. The Fun Fest, located in the stadium parking lot, is a free event. It features baseball skills games, a traveling baseball museum, the opportunity for fans to see their face on a baseball card or magazine cover, play baseball video games and more.
Tickets are $10 for outfield box seats, $15 for infield and home plate.
The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 17th season. Advertising and ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255. Fans can also visit the RiverHawks online at www.rockfordriverhawks.com. Most games are broadcast live on ESPN 1380, and on the team website.
