March 20, 2009 - This week's featured RiverHawks auction on eBay is for an autographed Rich Austin bat.
Austin played outfield for the Rockford RiverHawks in 2002-04. In 2004, Austin won the league batting title, hit a team-record 16 home runs, was voted Frontier League Player of the Year and selected to the All-Indy Leagues first team by Baseball America magazine.
Austin, nicknamed "The Franchise", was also signed by the Kansas City Royals. Last season, he was the top home-run hitter in the Italian pro league.
