RiverHawks activate Brooks, release Santos

August 1, 2008 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks announced Friday that they have activated shortstop Jono Brooks from the 14-day disabled list and released outfielder Nick Santos.


Brooks suffered a separated and partially torn left shoulder in a collision July 13 in Chillicothe. He was placed on the DL on July 18.


Santos hit .190 in eight games with Rockford, with no home runs and three RBI.
