RiverHawks open homestand tonight

July 24, 2008 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks offer poster and hat giveaways, as well as their weekly dollar beer and fireworks nights, during a three-game homestand that starts Thursday.

The RiverHawks host Evansville in a three-game series scheduled for 7:05 p.m. each of the next three nights.

On Thursday, the first 1,000 fans through the gate receive a team poster on Cousin’s Bar & Grill RiverHawks Poster Night. It’s also Miller Lite/104.9 – the X Dollar Beer Night. In addition, the RiverHawks will take the field in their camo caps and jerseys on Military Appreciation Night, sponsored by the Army and Marines.

Friday's game features Santa with Christmas in July! Umbrellas from Q98.5 will be given away at the gate to the first 1,000 fans. The FatWallet.com Friday Night Fireworks Series continues following the middle game of the series.

On Saturday, early arrivals receive logo bucket hats on Finnegans’ RV Floppy Hat Night. The annual Scout Campout is scheduled for Saturday as well.
