RiverHawks release Leclerc

June 12, 2008 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The RiverrHawks released outfielder Brian Leclerc from the team’s disabled list today.

Leclerc suffered a concussion in spring training and did not play for the RiverHawks in 2008.

He split time in 2007 between Boise of the Northwest League and Peoria of the Midwest League in the Chicago Cubs organization.

Leclerc is a career .250 hitter with no home runs and 13 RBI.

The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 16th season this summer.
