| April 26, 2008 - More than 1000 people came out to Road Ranger Stadium Saturday morning to show their support for the American Heart Assciation in order to raise money for the cause. This is the first year of a partnership between the American Heart Association and the Rockford RiverHawks. The AHA will also be raising additional funds during the June 15th game, as the Rockford RiverHawks take on the Kalamazoo Kings. RiverHawks GM Josh Olerud commented, "We're just happy that we have a facility that the AHA wanted to host their heart walk in, and we look forward to the game in June and the partnership from here on out." |
