September 12, 2007 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Nearly fifty kids were selected as Rockford Bell Credit Union K’s For Cash Kids at Rockford RiverHawks games this season. Some have yet to claim their winnings.

Each game, one lucky kid was selected as the RBCU strikeout kid. The child received $10, plus $3 for each strikeout recorded by that night’s RiverHawks starting pitcher. The money is available in an account in the kid’s name at any of the three local RBCU branches, located in Loves Park, Rockford and Mt. Morris.

The parents or guardians of winners should contact RBCU (815) 636-2100 within 30 days to set up the child’s account.

A full list of winners is available by clicking this link.

The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 15th season. Advertising and ticket information is available by calling the box office at (815) 885-2255. Most games are broadcast live on WNTA (1330 AM) and the internet.
