August 26, 2007 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Jason James broke a scoreless tie with a three-run homer and the Rockford RiverHawks beat the Traverse City Beach Bums, 6-1, Sunday at Road Ranger Stadium.

James moved back into the lead for the league batting title with a 3-for-4, three-RBI performance. He is hitting .360.

In the sixth inning, Matt Hagen and Andrew Sweet both singled with one out to set the table for James. James homered to the beer garden in right field and drove Traverse City starter Tony Casoli (3-7) from the game. In the seventh, Joe Anthonsen doubled home two runs and scored on a wild pitch.

Rockford starter Garrett Bauer had a shutout until the eighth inning. Bauer (6-5) left after a leadoff walk in the eighth and won for the first time in four starts.
