RiverHawks, ThunderBolts rained out

May 26, 2007 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Tonight’s game between the Rockford RiverHawks and Windy City ThunderBolts has been postponed due to inclement weather. No makeup date has been scheduled.

The premier edition of “RiverHawks Weekly,” the team’s official weekly hour-long sports program, will still debut tonight at 6:00 p.m. on WNTA (1330 AM). Rockford broadcasters Bill Czaja and Ronan O’Shea will host the show, which features exclusive team interviews and a look back at the RiverHawks first week of the 2007 season. Tonight’s guest is Baseball America managing editor J.J. Cooper and RiverHawks manager J.D. Arndt.

Rockford will be on the road Sunday night for the first of a four-game, split-site set with the Traverse City Beach Bums. The live radio broadcast can be heard on WNTA (1330 AM).

The RiverHawks are the Western Division champions of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 15th season in 2007. The RiverHawks begin their sixth season on May 23 at Windy City. The home opener is at 7:05 p.m. May 25, when the RiverHawks host Windy City.
