Swedish American Hospital teams up with RiverHawks

November 27, 2006 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks announced today that they have agreed to a deal with Swedish American Hospital to provide the medical center exposure at RiverHawks Stadium over the next three years.

“They’ll have a presence in the ballpark as well as obtaining some of the best seats in the house for hospitality use,” RiverHawks general manager Josh Olerud said. “It’s great exposure for one of the leading medical centers in the Midwest. We appreciate all the support they’ve given us since we came to Rockford.”

The highlight of the marketing package is prominent signage on the stadium’s video scoreboard.

SwedishAmerican is a not-for-profit, locally governed healthcare system dedicated to providing excellence in healthcare and compassionate care to our community. Headquartered in Rockford, SwedishAmerican Health System serves 12 counties in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.

The RiverHawks are the defending Western Division champions of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 15th season in 2007.
