September 8, 2006 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks are guaranteed at least one more game at RiverHawks Stadium during the 2006 Frontier League playoffs, and are just one win away from making their second trip in three years to the Frontier League Championship Series. They would have home-field advantage in that final series.
The RiverHawks drew a record number of fans this season in their new ballpark. Because of that success, the team wants to welcome fans with great deals in several areas for the rest of the playoffs.
Fans will be able to enjoy sodas and beer for just $1 at every remaining home game. Families will be able to get $20-Value Packs, giving them four outfield box tickets. That's a $32 value, so fans can save 38.5% with this special offer.
