June 20, 2006 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Local band Damaged Goods will play live at RiverHawks Stadium on Wednesday, June 21st. This is the first of the RiverHawks Stadium Series that will have a band featured every Wednesday and Saturday.

Damaged Goods will kick off the series by playing when the gates open at 5 p.m. prior to the game, and will play for up to two hours after the game in the Stone and Double T Beer Garden. The group plays a combination of rock and blues, providing original songs as well as cover songs. They play hits from such bands as The Who, the Rolling Stones, and Johnny Winter.

Lead man Chas Bartelt has toured the southern United States, but this is a new lineup for the Belvidere group. However, they have already performed at 15 separate shows with members Todd Vanlue on drums, Bruce Coppock on the bass guitar, and Joel Porter as the second guitarist.

“We are excited to be sponsored by EZ Goen and be a part of the inaugural RiverHawks Stadium Series,” said Bartelt. “We plan on providing a great show for the fans.”

The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 10-team independent professional baseball league in its 14th season. Advertising, ticket and suite information is available by calling the box office at (815) 964-2255. All games are broadcast live on WRHL-FM, 102.3 – the Hub and online at www.rockfordriverhawks.com.
