July 19, 2010 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Power Connection is taking over Road Ranger Stadium for another game.

The Rockford RiverHawks announced Monday that the Power Connection has bought every available seat in the stadium for August 2nd when the RiverHawks host the Schaumburg Flyers at 7:05 p.m. at Road Ranger Stadium. The Power Connection offers the entire Stateline community a night of professional baseball on its tab.

The Power Connection is a management-labor cooperative between the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 364 and the Northern Illinois Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association.

“This is the fifth year Power Connection has been a sponsor of the RiverHawks, and the fourth year we have done this event,” said Brad Sholes, RiverHawks Director of Ticket Operations. “The game is only one way they give back to the community and we hope to keep it an annual event. Fans are encouraged to use the tickets to show their appreciation to Power Connection.”

Fans can click here to print a voucher for tickets to the game.

The RiverHawks are members of the Northern League, an eight-team independent professional baseball league in its 18th season.
