August 4, 2008 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Regardless of the score, the Rockford RiverHawks have guaranteed an explosive night this weekend.
The RiverHawks will hold an unprecedented between-games fireworks show during Friday’s doubleheader against the Midway Sliders at Road Ranger Stadium.
Monday’s game between the Rockford RiverHawks and the Midwest Sliders was postponed because of rain. The RiverHawks announced the rainout will be made up as part of a doubleheader at 6:05 p.m. Friday. The gates at Road Ranger Stadium will open at 5 p.m.
The FatWallet.com Friday Night Fireworks Series will take place between games of the doubleheader.
Tickets from Monday’s rainout can be exchanged at the box office for available seats on Friday or at any remaining 2008 regular-season home game.
