RiverHawks to celebrate Belvidere Youth Baseball night

June 3, 2008 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks will be celebrating Belvidere Youth Baseball Night at Road Ranger Stadium on Sunday, June 29. The game starts at 6:05 p.m. with the gates opening at 5 p.m. The Rockford RiverHawks host their division rivals, the Gateway Grizzlies.

Any Belvidere Baseball Player in uniform will get a ticket for free to Sunday’s game. All Belvidere teams will be honored before the game. Teams will take the field shortly after 5 p.m. On the field, players and coaches will take a group photo and tour the dugout. Players can bring a marker for RiverHawks autographs before and after the game. Family, friends, and community members of Belvidere will be sold discounted tickets: $6 for outfield box, $7 for infield box, and $8 for home plate. The promotions for the game are $3.00 inflatable wristbands for kids, Kids Run the Bases after the game, and a 30-minute autograph session with RiverHawks players and coaches following the RiverHawks game.
