RiverHawks seeking Rocko performer

October 24, 2007 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The previous Rocko the RiverHawk performer left some big shoes to fill. And a big costume.

The Rockford RiverHawks announced today that they are holding auditions for a weekday mascot performer. Rocko makes more than 100 appearances a year outside the stadium, many of them during the business week. The team is seeking someone available to make Rocko appearances 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays.

The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 16th season in 2008.
