January 9, 2009 - There might be a great deal of artifical trees in the homes of RiverHawks fans, because two weeks after Christmas, most of them haven't come down yet.
In the most recent online poll, fans were asked to vote when they brought their tree down after Christmas. Twenty-six of 50 (52 percent) haven't gotten around to it. Seventeen (35 percent) took care of business on the first weekend after New Year's.
Only one voter took it down the day after Christmas and one other did it between Dec. 27 and Dec. 30. Three others removed the lumber on New Years Eve, none on New Year's Day, and two others on Jan. 6, Three Kings Day, also celebrated as Christmas in some countries.
