October 31, 2008 - Gateway Grizzlies broadcaster Joe Pott, a two-time winner of the Frontier League Broadcaster of the Year Award, will also be calling games for Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.
The veteran baseball announcer was recently hired by SIU-E as Assistant to the Athletic Director for broadcasting. Pott, married with two daughters, will continue to call Gateway games.
