September 15, 2008 - Former RiverHawk Rich Austin was denied what would have been his third championship in eight years of professional baseball.
Austin's Calgary Vipers lost, 10-9, Sunday at Orange County in the fifth and deciding game of the independent Golden League finals. Austin hit .357 with a home run and eight RBI in the postseason. |
