May 5, 2008 - Former Rockford RiverHawk Derrick Ellison is unscored upon through his first five relief appearances for the Bridgeport Bluefish of the independent Atlantic League.
Ellison was also the focus of a recent feature article in the Connecticut Post.
Ellison is 1-0 and has struck out eight in six innings. Ellison, who pitched for Rockford in 2004-05, was signed by Chicago in the offseason, but the Cubs released him in spring training. |
