April 18, 2008 - Milwaukee is the team to beat in the NL Central, according to fans voting in the most recent online poll.
The Brewers got nearly 36 percent (48 of 135 total) of the vote. Pittsburgh, which got a late surge in voting edged the Cubs by four votes, 39-35. The Pirates had 29 percent of the vote to Chicago's 26 percent. Cincinnati and St. Louis each had four percent of the vote. One person voted for Houston. |
