Former RiverHawk heads to Ottawa
« Back

March 17, 2008 - Former RiverHawk Jason Pilkington is headed to the newest city in the independent Can-Am League.

The new Ottawa team announced that it has signed the left-handed pitcher, who spent parts of the 2003 and 2004 seasons with the RiverHawks. Pilkington was 4-3 with a save and a 3.18 ERA - and a team-record four balks - in 16 appearances the latter season. He was traded to Richmond near the roster deadline.

Pilkington last appeared in pro ball with the Can-Am League's Quebec team two years ago.
