November 27, 2007 - Windy City manager Andy Haines has left the ThunderBolts for the Florida Marlins organization.
The 2007 Frontier League Manager of the Year will be the defensive coordinator for the Marlins' extended spring training program and hitting coach for their Gulf Coast League affiliate in Jupiter, Fla. Haines, in his first year as a manager, led the 'Bolts to a league-record 68 wins, its first winning record in nine seasons in the Frontier League and a pennant.
