August 8, 2007 - Fans voting in our online poll aren't big fans of San Francisco left fielder Barry Bonds. More than 65 percent of the 109 voters in our online poll said they would boo Bonds when he broke Hank Aaron's all-time home-run record.
Bonds did so on Tuesday when he homered to center field in the fifth off Washington's Mike Bacsik. The Nationals beat the Giants, 8-6.
Nearly 16 percent said they would cheer Bonds. Nearly as many said they would rather enjoy some juice than watch the record-breaking home run. |
