February 27, 2007 - Veteran indy-league skipper Jeff Isom is headed to Montana.
The Traverse City Beach Bums announced that their manager is leaving for the same position in the Milwaukee organization. Isom will manage the Helena Brewers of the rookie-level Pioneer League. The Beach Bums relocated from Richmond, Ind. last winter and were 57-39 under Isom.
Isom, who has a career record of 319-265, has also managed the Washington Wild Things as well as the Northern League's Joliet franchise. He has three 50-win seasons in the Frontier League. |
