February 23, 2007 - Old-school RiverHawks fans carried the day in the just-ended website poll, "What is your favorite logo?" With many to choose from, the 97 total votes went in nearly every direction.
Tops on the list was the 2005, post-championship logo of the RiverHawk perched on a broken bat. It got 33 votes, 34 percent of the total.
Second place was a battle of three logos from different eras, all within four votes of each other.
The 2004-05 pupil-less Hawk head had 16 votes, about 16.5 percent of the total. Two 2006 entries, the cap logo and the jersey logo, earned 12 votes each.
