April 27, 2011 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – In preparation for their return to the Frontier League, the Rockford RiverHawks have scheduled a home-and-home spring training series against the Windy City ThunderBolts.
Rockford’s only professional baseball team announced Wednesday they will face Windy City in a pair of doubleheaders on Friday, May 13 and Sunday, May 15. Both doubleheaders will begin at 3 p.m.
Friday’s contest will take place at Standard Bank Stadium in Crestwood, and Sunday’s game is set to be played at Road Ranger Stadium.
