Final home series of record-breaking season

August 30, 2010 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks host the Winnipeg Goldeyes for the final home series of 2010. Road Ranger Stadium has been sold out a record 13 times this season.

The series begins at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday for the final “Two for Tuesday” promotion, where fans can buy two tickets for the price of one. Any unused ticket vouchers can be redeemed for the game Tuesday night.

Wednesday is the final Rock River Valley Blood Center “Straight from the heart” Wednesday; fans who donate blood at any RRVBC location receive a ticket voucher to the game. It is also ticket redemption night. Any unused ticket from the 2010 season can be redeemed for the game. This is the first time the RiverHawks have offered this deal to the general public. Game starts at 7:05 p.m.

Thursday is the final home game at Road Ranger Stadium. Miller Lite and 2nd Cousin’s Bar and Grill host dollar beer night. Stick around after the game for fireworks, courtesy of Gilley’s Heating and Air Conditioning. The RiverHawks also host fan appreciation night. Every fan will receive an undisclosed item. First pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

2011 season ticket packages are available now at the Road Ranger Stadium box office. Take advantage of the early bird specials, contact the RiverHawks for details.

The RiverHawks are members of the Northern League, an eight-team independent professional baseball league in its 18th season.
