August 28, 2010 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Missed a game because of a schedule conflict? Did you bail out because you thought it was going to rain? Fear not – your ticket still has value.
The Rockford RiverHawks announced that they have scheduled Ticket Redemption Night for 7:05 p.m. Wednesday. The RiverHawks play Winnipeg in their next-to-last home game of the season. Fans can bring in unused tickets from any other 2010 home game – whether they’re season tickets or individual-game tickets – and trade them in for tickets to Wednesday’s game, no questions asked.
“Our ‘No Ticket Goes Unused’ policy has a benefit to our season-ticket holders for many years,” RiverHawks general manager Josh Olerud said. “This is the first time we’ve offered the same opportunity to fans who just buy individual tickets. It’s a one-of-a-kind opportunity to get maximum value out of unused tickets.”
Unused tickets must be exchanged in person at the Road Ranger Stadium box office. The box office is open at 9 a.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. weekends.
The RiverHawks are members of the Northern League, an eight-team independent professional baseball league in its 18th season. Advertising and ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255. Games are broadcast live on ESPN 1380 (WTJK-AM) and on ESPN1380.com. Fans can also visit the RiverHawks online at www.rockfordriverhawks.com.
