Faith Night, WIFR buyout, and IDOT "You've been Ticketed" next homestand

June 19, 2010 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks return home Monday to host the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.

Monday, the RiverHawks and RedHawks will complete a twice-suspended game from June 5. Fargo leads, 4-3, and play will resume at 6:05 p.m. with Rockford batting in the bottom of the fourth inning. Approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the suspended game, the two teams will play the scheduled game. WIFR has bought every seat in the house. Go to wifr.com and print out your voucher and bring it to the ticket office to redeem for seats.

Tuesday is a “Two for Tuesday” where fans can buy one ticket, and receive one of equal or lesser value for free. It is also TLN Faith Night, a night dedicated to all faiths. The RiverHawks will be honoring all churches in attendance with church themed promotions during the game. Live Gospel music will be played before and after the game. Game starts at 7:05.

The homestand concludes Wednesday. The game is sponsored by the Illinois Department of Transportation. Fans can win tickets to future RiverHawks game with IDOT’s “You’ve Been Ticketed” program. Cars that pull into the Road Ranger Stadium parking lot with everyone wearing seatbelts will receive a ticket voucher. Fans can also receive free tickets to the game by donating blood at any Rock River Valley Blood Center location as part of “Straight from the Heart Wednesday”. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m.

The RiverHawks are members of the Northern League, an eight-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 18th season this summer.
