Faith night returns to Road Ranger Stadium
« Back

June 1, 2010 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford RiverHawks invite Stateline families to attend one or both of its Faith Nights scheduled this summer.

A Rockford area businessman and devout Christian bought out the park to sponsor Faith Night on Tuesday, June 22 and Wednesday, July 28. Both games are scheduled for 7:05 p.m. starts at Road Ranger Stadium. A church can select one or both nights for individual or group tickets. It is the sponsor’s goal to allow all Christian people to enjoy a night at the ballpark.

Families and groups are asked to register for one or both games in advance to ensure they receive tickets. Each group will be recognized over the stadium public-address system and one will be selected to sing during the seventh-inning stretch. This is the second straight year that Faith Night has a sponsor.

RiverHawks Director of Operations Chris Daleo stated, "Many churches have already reserved their tickets and we have almost filled the stadium. I hope that everyone can take part in this event and have fun at the ballpark; but tickets are going fast and everyone has to hurry to reserve their seats.”

For more information, contact Daleo at (815) 885-2255.

The RiverHawks are members of the Northern League, an eight-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 18th season this summer. Advertising and ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255. Games are broadcast live on ESPN 1380 (WTJK-AM) and on ESPN1380.com.
