May 20, 2010 - Winter is officially over! Rockford RiverHawks baseball is back.
Rockford's only professional baseball team opens its first season in the Northern League at 7:05 p.m. Thursday with a game against the Schaumburg Flyers. Axberg Heating & Air sponsors RiverHawks Inaugural Northern League Season T-Shirt Night, a premium giveaway for the first 1,000 fans. It's also Miller Lite/Second Cousin's/104.9 - The X Dollar Beer Night. Following the game, fans will be treated to an OTB Trackside fireworks spectacular. Visit the beer garden after the game for a karaoke party, sponsored by Sound Sensations.
Tickets still remain, but are going fast. Tickets start at just $5; the best seat in the house is $15 and the amazing all-you-can-eat Diamond Deck is $25. Tickets are available 24 hours a day online. The box office is open at 9 a.m. Call (815) 885-BALL to order tickets. |
