May 17, 2010 - LOVES PARK, Ill. – Fans can be the first in the Stateline to meet the 2010 version of the Rockford RiverHawks Tuesday at the Tilted Kilt.
The RiverHawks announced that they have scheduled their Meet the Team event for 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Tilted Kilt, located at the Clock Tower Resort, 7801 E. State St. The entire roster, including former major-leaguers Randall Simon and Mike Wood, fan favorite Rich Austin and all-time RiverHawks hit and home-run king Jason James, will sign autographs.
The RiverHawks are members of the Northern League, an eight-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 18th season this summer. The RiverHawks’ ninth season begins at 7:05 p.m. Thursday against the Schaumburg Flyers at Road Ranger Stadium. Advertising and ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255.
