November 25, 2009 - RiverHawks general manager Josh Olerud (left) and director of sales Jeff Olerud (second from left) spent part of Wednesday at the Rockford Rescue Mission serving hot meals to the needy.
The RiverHawks and the mission have been longtime partners in the Strike Out Hunger program at Road Ranger Stadium. The RiverHawks have helped Rockford Rescue Mission raise more than $12,000 since 2002.
"We were just looking to give back during the offseason," Josh Olerud said. "We're looking forward to helping out again at Christmastime." |
